This book makes a person fall in love with this Italian Saint!! She persevered through poor health to give the Immigrants hope and revival in their spiritual lives as well as trying to make their physical lives better. She helped so many orphan girls have dignity and a place to live and she tirelessly helped men who sweated blood sweat and tears to have hope and regain their Catholic spiritual lives! She depended and gave everything to Jesus Christ and through him keep getting renewed strength to carry on with her work. She said with Jesus and a penny I can accomplish much. Mother Cabrini packed so much accomplishment in her 67 years on this earth and gained repeated strength to carry on with her work again and again and again through her deep love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus! She was a tireless warrior for injustice and many hospitals and orphanages were built by this dynamo of a woman! The accomplishments are great and many hospitals and orphanage’s are still running today! She could find water on land that had no water and many miracles are the result of this great woman’s intersession!
Mother Cabrini’s words ring more true today in a world that has gone mostly astray… Her work during her life has laid the foundation for the future…. Thank you for sharing your kind helpful words…. God Bless

This awesome book about Mother Cabrini gave insight into this holy saint’s life and her great love for the Sacred Heart of Jesus! She was humble and tenacious in fighting for the Italian immigrants to have a better life in America and she taught them the great love our Lord had for them, giving them dignity and respect by her words and actions and all the while she suffered greatly with illness and almost died many times but she kept persevering in love and humility for her beloved Sacred Heart. She was a great business woman but depended on our Lord for her substance and quest for the poor begging for money to build, orphanages, hospitals, and places for the immigrants! It is truly a great book full of adventure showing Mother Cabrini buying mining claims, going deep in the ground to speak to the miners the love the Lord had for them. She never gave up till her last breath in doing good for the poor! The book included stories from the author of his and others personal journeys and how mother Cabrini impacted their lives and their never ending drive to carry on her legacy with the Mother Cabrini Shrine in Golden, CO, and other shrines in CA and New York. Her hospitals and Orphanages are still operating to this day helping all, so the legacy carries on!
